Jane Adams has worked as a journalist since 1995, both as a features writer and as an editor of print and online publications. Learning quickly and writing convincingly about complex topics that are new to her is one of her big strengths – her journalism has covered topics as diverse as electronics, credit derivatives and early dance. Jane has written for Banking Automation Bulletin, Card World Independent Yearbook, Early Music Today, European Card Review, Card Technology, Institutional Investor, Norwich Union Direct and The List Food and Drink Guide.
Her other strength is as a creative and insightful editor – she edited World Card Technology (taking it from post launch to sale to a major publisher), European Card review, e-Nuggets (the newsletter of the Marketing Society) and Innovation Focus Scotland.
She has also written ghosted articles, white papers, speeches and bylined opinion pieces for clients and is also the author of two industry reports: the 7th Edition of The Smart Card Report, published by Elsevier, and ‘Smart Cards – Current Trends, Developments and Future Prospects in the Healthcare Industry’, published by HBS Consulting, as well as A Positive Choice – Choosing Long-Stay Care for a Person with Dementia (ISBN 0 948897 25 2) for Alzheimer’s Scotland. She blogs at Finextra.
She welcomes feature and book commissions on any topic – please get in touch to discuss.
