Jane Adams takes your privacy seriously and does not sell, rent or trade email lists for marketing purposes to other businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what sort of personal data I use for running my business, how I use it and how I keep it safe.

I am based in the UK and retain information for business and professional purposes in line with UK data protection regulations.

This website does not gather visitor information and does not use cookies. If you contact me by email or phone about my services, I will obtain your consent to store your contact data for the purposes of discussing supplying my services to you, supplying services to you and administration regarding those services. I may contact you again in the future about further potential supply of services.

If I obtain your contact data for the purposes of interviewing you for an article, I will obtain your consent to store it and may contact you again in the future for further articles. This contact data may be shared with the editor of the publication, but only with your permission. If I interview you, I may store a recording of the interview on the basis of legitimate interests for the purpose of ensuring accurate transcription of your comments. This will be stored for 3 years in accordance with Scottish defamation law.

Information is stored securely on my laptop, phone and in UK or EU based cloud storage. Recordings are securely stored offline. Unless I have gained specific consent, I will not share your data with other third parties unless required by law to do so.
